Helping you live life to the full after injury

Our mission is to give a voice to those whose views and wishes have traditionally been ignored or lost in a sea of bureaucracy and politics. We listen, nurture and guide people to live the life they want and take control of their own destiny after a traumatic injury. Our strategies focus on practical and emotional support in the community. We will fight with passion for people’s rights and our ideal outcome is that we are no longer needed because we have empowered our clients to achieve true independence. We deliver for our clients because every Case Manager is backed and supported by the full breadth and depth of experience and specialist knowledge available across the entire AKA organisation. So far we have positively supported thousands of clients and their families adjust, find purpose and enjoy life again since we were incorporated in 2002.

We really hope you will join our community and look forward to meeting you soon. In the meantime feel free to get in touch at anytime as our team are on hand to help you wherever they can.

How we can help

AKA Case Management believes case management is a process that enables traumatically injured clients to put meaning back into their lives. We have been providing specialist care since 2002 to both children and adults with:

  • Brain injuries
  • Spinal injuries
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Orthopaedic injuries
  • Amputation

We offer a comprehensive case management service to both clients and lawyers providing support in all areas of rehabilitation:

  • An initial clinical assessment identifying immediate needs
  • Help with cost-effective care planning for the present and future
  • A network of specialised therapy and support
  • Long term, ongoing rehabilitation AKA Case Management uses a best-practice approach where case management and rehabilitation uses teamwork, drive and determination to work towards agreed goals.

These targets can take time to achieve, but we find the outcome is immensely rewarding to both individuals and their family.
