Sarah Longshaw

Assistant Case Manager

Sarah started with AKA at the beginning of June 2015 having worked in the care industry since 2007. She joined us so that she can continue caring for a client she has worked with since October 2011 and so her committed nature and care skills just keep getting more extensive. She has backed this up with an NVQ level 2 and 3 in and also completed her level 5 in management and leadership  in Health and Social Care for children and adults. In 2022 Sarah became an assistant case manager.

Sarah is always very busy out of work out and about with her son and daughter and socialising. When she finds herself at a loose end, she enjoys going swimming or walking. We have ourselves a very active mother here at AKA!

We asked Sarah a few questions to get to know her better.

  1. Who would play you in a film about your life? Emily Blunt – although I’m not sure I have her voice.
  2. If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get? Definitely curry – Balti’s my favourite!
  3. When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? An airline pilot (still do!).
