Helen has worked both with the young and elderly, specifically working with speech and language disorders in children and many years within a residential and nursing home. She has a variety of qualifications including M.N.E.B and NVQ Level 2 and 3 in health and social care. Helen joined the AKA team in June 2013.
Having being a Girl Guide in her younger years, Helen quite fancies a bit of orienteering every now and then but as they say, women and maps don’t mix very well and she tends to find it slightly tricky finding the starting point when out on her map lead walks! Observing nature and wildlife is what Helen says it’s all about, so we’d say put your map back in your rucksack Helen and follow your nose!
