The beautiful colours of autumn are with us and it feels like we can finely put our summer clothes away. Life has continued to be busy but filled with fun here at AKA. Our community continues to grow with more staff and clients joining us. Read on to find out what we have been up to.

Summer is upon us and its festival season too, so we’re hoping for warm sunny evenings to get out and enjoy the fun. The last three months have been hectic here at AKA. We moved to larger offices in May within the same building and more people joined our expanding AKA community. Read on to catch up on what everyone has been up to.

We have had a fantastic 2009 and 2010 looks set to be another exciting year! 2009 saw the staff and clients of AKA Case Management continuing their fundraising efforts with the ultimate achievement of sponsoring Sammy, our Dog for the Disabled.

Summer 2009 Newsletter - Issue 03

We are pleased to announce that we completed the 47 mile relay race on 25th April 2009. As we bombed down the motorway in our minibus (which was being driven by our MD, Angela Kerr!) the sun was shining on us. Thirteen of us took part in the race including office staff, support staff, clients and family and the atmosphere was fantastic. We ended the day with a well earned picnic and a spot of sumo wrestling!
