Summer is upon us and its festival season too, so we're hoping for warm sunny evenings to get out and enjoy the fun. The last three months have been hectic here at AKA. We moved to larger offices in May within the same building and more people joined our expanding AKA community. Read on to catch up on what everyone has been up to.
Mid way through the year we took a long hard look at ourselves and decided we were looking a bit shabby. So thanks to Dill at Design Illustrated we rebranded, creating a fresher image to reflect who we are and what we do. Our re-launched website presents our new look throughout it's easy to navigate pages. Check out www.akacasemanagement.com as we would welcome feedback on how we look and are presenting ourselves.
Chris at Ortemo Media has the website up and running with information about our services, an online shop, news and members sections are coming soon.
AKA Case Management is now registered with CQC and regulated to provide personal care. This means our service meets the standards specified by the Health and Social Care Act 2008. We promise to maintain these standards to the highest level and welcome any feedback on how we are doing. Please feel free to contact us with your comments.
Not only are we on Facebook (AKA Case Management Community Group) but we are tweeting like mad. Follow us @AKA_CM and get tweeting it's great fun.
We are holding a Bowling evening for all staff, clients and our friends. We know there are some champions amongst you (Becky and Kayden) so come along and show off your skills, it will be a laugh. If you would like to join us on the 27th August at Hollywood Bowl in Sheffield, please ring the office on 0115 9540167. We look forward to seeing you.
Forest Ranger, Ian Major has invited us on a tour of Sherwood Forest, to learn more about the forest and check on the little saplings we planted earlier in the year. The tour is on 4th September at 11am, everyone is invited so give us a call on 0115 9540167. It will be a fun day out.
On the 25th of June in Doncaster, Becky and Claire joined a whole bunch of people and ran 5k as part of the race for life event. A cool breeze helped them on their way. They did brilliantly by completing the course in 1 hours 6 minutes, raising £380.00 as a result. Well one girls, you rock and we’re proud of you. There is still time to help Becky and Claire raise more by visiting:
