Accessibility

Useful information about making your computer more accessible and easier to view if your eyesight is not good - or if perhaps you would prefer to listen instead.

To resize the text:

Internet Explorer users: 1.Select 'View' in the toolbar 2.Select 'Text Size'. 3.Resize Text. Text can be resized to larger, largest, smaller, smallest and medium. Firefox users: 1.Select 'View' in the toolbar 2.Select 'Text Size'. 3.Click and 'increase+' or 'decrease-' to change size of text. Safari users: 1.Select 'View' in the toolbar 2.Select 'Make text bigger' or 'Make text smaller' To see all the accessibility features on your computer, such as text resizers and screen readers: On a PC: 1.Click 'Start' button (at bottom left of your 'PC' screen) 2.Select 'All programmes' and then 'Accessories' 3.Click 'Accessibility' to see range of accessibility options, such as 'Narrator' which reads the text for you through your computer speakers. On a Mac 1.Click 'System Preferences' from the Apple Menu 2.Select 'Universal Access' to see range of accessibility options. PDF's YOU can view 'PDF' pages at almost any scale. Most browsers have adobe reader installed, but if you can't open .pdfs, Download it here
