Mairi qualified as an Occupation Therapist in 1999 from the college of Ripon and York St John. She worked for 7 years in neuro rehabilitation with people who had a range of disabilities from those with a stroke to brain injury.

For the last 4 ½ years she has worked in vocational rehabilitation empowering individuals with disabilities to take control of their own health needs and feel more confident to engage in employment.

Mairi joined AKA Case Management in February 2011and has already enriched the knowledge base of the company with her experience.

You will know Mairi by her warm friendly nature and northern twang. In her spare time she loves playing with her young daughter or getting stuck into a DIY project at home. She can also be found biking or walking in the peak district with her family.
